This is quite a hard question to answer! To start with, it depends on how stained your teeth are before and whether you eat and drink staining things (such as coffee, red wine, tea, and curry) or smoke. Obviously if you have a highly staining diet, your teeth will tend to go back to the way they were before quicker than the average.
However, with most products after the initial whitening treatment (lasting 1-2 weeks) your teeth will tend to stay white for at least 1 year afterwards, and in most cases up to 3 years. The majority of people who whiten their teeth will tend to do ‘top-up’ treatments or 1-3 applications every 6-12 months however, to keep their teeth sparkling white.
