Update: Peroxide-based teeth whitening products
In October 2012 the UK Cosmetic Products Regulations were updated with regards to the amount of peroxide allowed in teeth whitening products. From October 2012 only dentists can supply products containing up to 6% Hydrogen Peroxide (equivalent to 18% Carbamide Peroxide) to patients, following a check-up.
Dentstore are fully compliant with the above regulations and as such have had to remove all of our peroxide-containing products. We have since added several non-peroxide items, one in particular, NXGEN White we are especially excited about.
NXGEN White uses a non-peroxide gel to whiten teeth up to 9 shades lighter whilst not giving the painful side-effects of gum irritation or sensitivity so common with peroxide products, to find out more please click on the links above.
